A dream
I was driving around trying to find a gas station in a town I was unfamiliar with. In the middle of my frustration I got a call from my mom on my cell phone. She asked me where I was with a lonely sounding voice. I told her I had to return to Chicago … and to make the situation worse, the cell phone took this opportunity to have broken reception, so I had to repeat myself 2 or 3 times. In a voice only a mother could muster for a son, she said, "You should come home, it's the holidays, I was expecting you to be home…"
