Have you felt the same way as I have. I used to feel those who were Bible Scholars, self acclaimed Bible scholars and anyone who seemed to be able to recite Bible versus, were closer to God and my faith in God was weaker than theirs, I was not a disciple of Christ?
None of those are indications they have a better, stronger, closer relationship with Christ than you or I do. As in the title, it's simple.
Have Faith in Jesus Christ
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. NIV MK 12:30
"… Love your neighbor as yourself." MK 12:31
Repent
If you are working on these, then it does not matter how much knowledge another has, it does not matter what they say about your beliefs, it does not matter what they think!
Your relationship with Christ is a personal intimate relationship not to be shared, evaluated, judged by anyone other than…Jesus Christ himself.
